I read The Shadow of the Wind ages ago, but remember loving it! sorry to hear it was a bit disappointing to you. I'll have to reread it!

I've heard so many mixed things about Shadow of the Wind. I think if I ever get around to reading it, I will borrow it from the library. The Waverly books seem delightful.

I remember trying to read Princess Ben years ago and I only got a few chapters in! actually...maybe it was closer to a few pages...

Sarah Addison Allen books are such sweet treats. I love the magical realism aspects. Girl Who Chased the Moon is great, and has baking magic 💜
