Too bad about you not enjoying Bingo Love as the cover for it is adorable. Awesome wrap up!

Okay I've only watched the intro so far but just want to say I'm very impressed you were to talk about 17 books in under 28 minutes

I'm just reading the Raven Cycle for the first time, and now Sawkill Girls definitely went on the list of things I need to read next :D

I absolutely picked up _Salt Slow_ because of your initial Twitter ravings 👌🏼 And _The Luminous Dead_ has been on my TBR forever and I'm mad at myself for not having read it!! LMAOOO I just got to the end where you included me in your request email, I love that so much 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Holy crap I think I've accomplished something if I read 4 or 5 books in a month. 16 books is another level lol

Your videos have finally convinced me to start the Raven Cycle on audio!

I read the Raven Cycle series just before I watched your vlog where you re-read it. And I'm greatful that I took the time to listen to your thoughts on it because I see it in a new light now. I had a fun time reading it, but I might re-read it now that I love it even more. (I typically don't read a book again after I have already read it.) The reason for this is the way you explained some scenes (I.E. the courtroom scene) really put them into context for me and made them resonate with me in a different way. Thank you for sharing your genuine feelings and thoughts because I could tell that some of those were difficult to talk about.

Great video! I already wanted to read Pet and All the Bad Apples and your reviews just made me more excited for both, and I am now considering adding Sawkill Girls to my tbr because of you!
This month was a rather bad month for me reading wise due to severe anxiety but I did finish and really enjoy Pulp by Robin Talley. It's not perfect but I think it's the kind of book you'd get some enjoyment out of too

I loved Pet. Probably my favourite fiction read this year.

I feel like I was the one person who didn’t like Sawkill Girls 😭 I loved Zoey, but Marion and Val’s relationship made me uncomfortable because of what happened to Marion’s sister. Then again I’m pretty sure I had a fever when I read it so maybe I should try it again.

Bingo love seemed.... a little 101 level for me. There wasn't a lot to it.

And as someone who saw a lot of law and order SVU... I still couldn't tell what the heck was going on. I thought I was supposed to like it more than I did.

The way you describe Salt Slow makes me want to pick it up SO. BAD. I've been reading a lot more short stories lately, one of my favorites has been Things We Lost in the Fire by Mariana Enriquez, which was a collection of gothic stories set in Argentina that I'm still thinking about months later. I'm glad you had such a great reading month in October!

I read the luminous dead because of you and it's one of my favorite books ever!

Ive read Her Body and Other Parties and agree that the book felt like it was competing with itself on which story can be the weirdest. Which was annoying about half way through. Had a story or two I liked but it didn't make up for the entire collection.
My favorite book of October was The Grace Year by Kim Liggett, it has its flaws but it still has me thinking about it and going back to it weeks later. Like I almost miss reading it.

How do you read a physical book without the lights on?
