I keep seeing the same thoughts on imaginary friend and it’s so funny because I absolutely loved the ending and where Chbosky went with it but I can totally see why if you don’t like the religious aspect, you wouldn’t enjoy it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s my favorite book of the year for sure, though!

The lighting is great!! The Passengers sounded so good but now that you're saying it wasn't as thrilling ughhhh I probably won't pick it up because I expected it was going to be a huge thriller. I'll have to check out the Secrets She Keeps now that I'm hearing you talk about it! I can't do slow burning books which is probably why some stephen king books are hit or misses for me soooo I guess Sleep is one I'm taking off my radar LOL.

I 💯 feel the same way about politics or even social issues in books. I read to escape. So when an authors political opinions get pushed on you in a book, whose story isn’t even about that topic, it is such a turn off.
