Lower back pain is one of the most common musculoskeletal problems in modern society, especially the kind where you feel it getting up from a chair or bending. These exercises are 7 of the best exercises for relieving—and more importantly preventing—tight, achy lower backs.

A lower back exercise regime should, at a minimum, include mobilising the lumbar spine in all 3 planes of motion. PLUS it should strengthen & activate the glutes, as well as stretch the hip flexors, to ensure the pelvis—the foundation of your spine--is properly supported.

I have been doing your shoulder blade exercises for several weeks now and it has made an IMMENSE difference in the pain that I had dealt with for years before finding your video. As far back as I can remember, my lower back has always been sore. Likely posture and trauma. It felt good after your easy to follow directions. Not pain free, just more relaxed. Sweet Cat!🐈‍⬛ THANK YOU!

once again Doc u made my day! since last week I had this uncomfortable pain in my lower back, a few days after it started I got 2 bumps, Ping-Pong ball size, swelling on my quad lumbar muscles. then I remembered the video you help me with my shoulder blade pain, and then saw this! Exactly what I needed! thanks again Doc! Already feels TONS better!

great videos! thanks! Can you do th mini cobra in #6 if you have some mild-moderate stenosis? In exercise #5 the text said do not do that one with stenosis? thank you

Thanks this really helped my low back pain. I did a too-aggressive stretch earlier this week and this was great to reset my low back. Done it twice and the pain is almost gone.
