Still struggling to see progress, after watching your ten thousandth cooking video?
You don’t have to track calories, BUT if you don’t understand macros I would recommend it. Also if you want progress quicker it helps dial things in better in my opinion
Especially if you tend to under eat some days and overeat other days
Some tips I always use…
-Keep things simple to prep
-I don’t care how viral a video is.. are you actually going to eat the food after you cook it
-Cook food you enjoy and won’t get bored of so quickly, there is always a healthier alternative to things you enjoy
-stay in a deficit to lose weight or surplus to
gain weight
-liquids & sauces have calories also so be cautious of those and yes that does include alcohol
-Get steps or cardio 4-5 days a week.. not just for weight loss but for overall health. While getting in the gym or doing something active you enjoy.
-YOU DON’T HAVE TO LIFT WEIGHT BUT YOU NEED TO BE ACTIVE
-If you suck at keeping yourself accountable try getting a couch or someone to help you
-Last I like the 80/20 rule to keep a healthy but fun lifestyle. 80% clean wholesome food and 20% fun food for the soul
