I’m 23 and an ordained minister. I lost my job to the virus in March and officially got fired a month or two ago. I am currently working in a grocery for the third time. I just graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Bible major. I’ve honestly wanted to quit this retail job on faith but I know that probably isn’t wise. I’m at a crossroads. I pray, I seek, I fight, I wait, and I don’t know what to do. Almost everyone at work backbites me, but I’ll keep on fighting.

Sacrifice is one too, being willing to die to self and let go of things that don’t please the Lord and not even just sin, I’m also seeing that I have to let go of things that are not necessarily labelled as sin, but it’s not born of God.

Not saying it’s easy, it can be hard, and sad, and sometimes you have to let go of things that you love, then in the end it’s not even worth to keep it, who knows God might give it back to you....God bless all

Number 3 speaks out to me cuz I find it to be hard to explain and have people understand the things I've learned on my journey..my cousin's mirror that she had for years fell off the wall and broke and I told her the Lord said when you lose something it makes room for something else and she thought I was joking.. about 2wks later she got in an accident and had to get a new car..I told her "see I told you when you lose something you gain something ☺️". I was referring to the mirror but she said with a face "well what you mean, of course I had to get a new car if I was in an accident"..then I jus let the conversation go cuz I didn't know how to explain myself 🤷🏽‍♀️

Sometimes it’s not always so obvious to what we need to do to give up, but the Lord is faithful as long as you meditate on His Word day and night. Include Him throughout the day because He does want to make memories with you. Time is also your friend. While it is a blessing for others to pray for you, as we should as a Body, you need to do the work yourself in digger deeper and praying. You don’t have to understand God; obey, and the changes happen as a natural result.
