This is perfect timing. Just got into a new relationship with a Christian man. And often I wonder is this from God. Did God lead us together? Because I prayed and prayed that God would lead me to the right man, that we would find each other. The crazy thing for me was that for some reason I had a great deal of choice when it came to remarrying after a difficult divorce. Several women made plain their interest in a romantic relationship and some of them were drop dead gorgeous. Interesting that I needed to be sacrificial in the mate I chose. She was (and still is after 36 years) very attractive, emotionally interesting and godly. It was a difficult relationship for a long time while my new wife was recovering from childhood trauma. As she put it, none of the other guys she had been dating would have been able to “handle” her. Turned out in the long run to be the right choice and a very good “investment.”
