I love how you explain the reasoning for the exercises. I would argue with the physiotherapists where I'm from. I'd explain my reasoning & they would agree. I'd have to explain to them I've been training & studying this stuff for years. Sometimes mistakes are made & then I learn from that mistake

I can testify that this exercise and others like it can indeed help eliminate back pain. I have bulged disks in lower back. When I would squat there would be increased pressure from the bulge that pushed against a nerve that would radiate down my leg. Started focusing on increasing core stability with this drill and others similar to it. Now my bulge still exists but when I squat I have much better stability thus the nerve doesn't get aggravated and my pain is drastically reduced to nearly completely gone. If you have back problems like bulged and herniated disks seek out medical advice that helps you find ways to improve your core stability and your back pain will improve. Worst thing you can do is to do nothing. Thanks for the quality info as always SU!!

More core/back strengthening exercises would be AMAZING please (this was super helpful, thank you) - Particularly for postpartum folk, or those who've been sedentary for a long period of time 🌹

Farmers walks are a core of my training program. It's a very natural and realistic exercise that strengthens nearly every muscle of the body. I'll have to try this.

You definitely need to alternate the side you carry 50/50… I work in construction and I put my left side pelvis out of whack because I carried single buckets on the right side. Result, had the necessary treatment. Carry two buckets now, 1 each side and do regular deadlifts… no problems since

The band makes for a killer forearm workout it as well. The constant bouncing causing you to need more grip.
