I've trained for fifteen years, and without a doubt the most burn I still feel training to this day is my calves and my core. It took forever to get my footwork right years ago, but once I did, being and your toes, going in and out of range, and circling my calves burn like crazy.

I’ve been training for 8 weeks now and I can 100% agree boxing has changed my life!

For those struggling with their mental health, Tony emphasising on the mental well-being is so wonderful! I’ve been officially depressed for over a year and on plenty of pills to stay alive! Started boxing just this week and it feels so damn good. Bonus: I don’t have anxiety in getting to the Class which is And just fyi, this has not been the first physical activity I tried! I’m a regular gym goer for the past 5 years, Yoga practitioner, irregular runner etc etc but the feel I have just after 1 week of boxing is unmatched 🫠🥲🥊 I think I’m gonna stick with this forever! 🤞🏾

True, just avoid getting knocked out because the mental benefits can be fully or partly lost, even in one session, among other things mental. Train your defense as much as possible.

Wow Tony just noticed the 1.72 Million subscribers!!! I’ve been a sub since u had a few thousand. Nice work.
And if anybody is reading this not yet started in boxing/kickboxing/bjj mma etc because it feels a bit intimidating, don’t be, take the plunge and go!!! It will be one of the best things you ever do in your life…

You have taught me more than I have ever known about boxing by watching your videos. And I trained a little bit when I was a late teen for like 6 months. Everything has gotten better, from my attitude to the way that I feel. FYI I'm 42 years old

about to hit 90days Tony. A routine of exercises & boxing for 1-1.5 hours a day, in the past I have never done more than a week before giving up because I hated it. Boxing has changed all of that. Mentally my focus I feel renewed with more clarity on the things I want to achieve. Ive completely changed the diet from crap to nothing but good food, very little sugar I have the mrs to thank for that tbh. Over this short period I have lost 19kgand am sitting at 81kg. Also, Ive had major vein issues in my legs for years, in the past required an operation, was looking like I would be needing another soon but not anymore. Since my 90days of intense working out these veins have significantly reduced in swelling and a huge improvement with my circulation. Thank you so much Tony your and absolute legend in my world. Boxing has changed my life and Tony you have been the only influence I have followed for tips and encouragement. I keep thinking, imagine 6 months from now, I love boxing. Forever grateful.

So true, i leave everything in the bag or the mits.
There's nothing better than being present, truly present in the moment.
Your in pain when thinking about past mistakes and fear or the future.
In the present you focus on the task and it's only real power you have!
Boxing and other martial arts brings just that.
Can be hard on the body, my hands hurt right now. My head's clear so that's a win!

V true about working muscles you never knew you had. I remember hurting my intercostal muscles and was sore beneath the ribs for days. I kept playing back the spar in my head and knew I hadn't been hit. But I had been over reaching and that did it!
Another great video

Tony you have explained everything to how boxing is helping me, at 41 with work, uni, kids, wife, life is tough. Boxing is supporting my stress and anxiety 100%. And all your videos are helping me practise and implement skills at the boxing club, you are a legend. 👍

I have been training for more than a year but I didn't have much advancement because of my work schedule (15 days on 15 days off on drilling rig) where I sleep in metallic cabins. A video about low impact (less noisy) drills will be helpful.
I don't to bother my colleagues during rest who work in different shifts.
By the way, love your videos. It motivates me to continue boxing during my off days despite the lack of advancement 😊

i didnt know i had muscles on the sides of my torso till i started boxing. was so sore my first couple times barley could move. but built my stamina and strenght and kept going. its helped me allot mentaly and emotionaly process things suprisingly, its very liberating to find something to free my mind and body and not feel so in my head amd uptight.
