'Honor Killings' Trial: Former police officer breaks down on the stand describing murder scene

In the murder trial of Yaser Said former Irving police officer Richard Bracy describes finding the taxi cab with the bodies of Sarah and Amina Said inside.

A Dallas jury unanimously found Yaser Said guilty of killing his two teen daughters, Sarah and Amina Said.

Judge Chika Anyiam sentenced Said to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors said Said, a native of Egypt, was angry that his daughters were dating and that the boys were not Muslim. They claim in a 911 call from the night of the murders, Sarah said her father was attacking her.

Said's defense attorney said he will be filing a notice to appeal.

I know that we have to go through trials like this. Just makes it really sad that even with a conviction. He could spend years awaiting an execution. Unlike the sentence he executed on his own children. No justice. It is sad that as a fact justice is not really served in a courtroom.
