Good that they gave him an interpreter so the prosecution can cover themselves if he states he didn’t understand English. He’s been here 40 years, became a citizen which requires you to know English and he had a valid drivers license which also is a requirement; his English is perfect (despite the accent).

I feel for the stenographer who has the huge task for dictating all this. Does anyone else think there should be an Arabic speaking stenographer as well? Even though he can talk perfect English. I also feel, he committed the crime in USA, his a USA citizen, therefore in an American Court, he definitely should be made to speak English especially after living there since 1983. Does anyone know if there are any Muslims on the jury? A practitioner of Islam would be the first to condemn this POS to death or something worse. I think a jury of all Muslims would convict him in a second, which would be the greatest rebuke .
