'Honor Killings' Trial: Defense raises questions about investigation of Yaser Said

Defense claims investigators quickly followed a narrative while investigating father accused of murdering two daughters in 2008.

A Dallas jury unanimously found Yaser Said guilty of killing his two teen daughters, Sarah and Amina Said.

Judge Chika Anyiam sentenced Said to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors said Said, a native of Egypt, was angry that his daughters were dating and that the boys were not Muslim. They claim in a 911 call from the night of the murders, Sarah said her father was attacking her.

Said's defense attorney said he will be filing a notice to appeal.

The audacity he has the nerve to plea not guilty after listening to his daughter die is simply beyond me.
He feels he was in the right. Those poor girls. Their simpleton mother just handed them over. Shame no one- soçial services, the courts, cops, their mom, stepped up to protected them.

I don’t understand why they have to have court when the girls clearly said their father shot them🤔 Or at least one of the girls was on the phone when she called 911 identified her father that was the shooter?

This is not a difficult case, as the defendant's lawyer is contending. Sharia law has no standing in the U.S. That makes this cut and dried.

And thank God the relatives who hid this piece of sh*t are in prison.
