'Honor Killings' Trial: Yaser Said found guilty of killing his two daughters, sentenced to life in p

A Dallas jury unanimously found Yaser Said guilty of killing his two teen daughters.

Judge Chika Anyiam sentenced Said to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors said Said, a native of Egypt, was angry that his daughters were dating and that the boys were not Muslim. They claim in a 911 call from the night of the murders, Sarah said her father was attacking her.

Said's defense attorney said he will be filing a notice to appeal.

The mother should not have been allowed to give a victim statement, instead she should have also been charged, she made her daughters come back with her to the father, knowing full well he had sexually abused his daughters, she played a part in the death of her daughters. The mother should be held accountable for the murder of her daughters.

Parents need to understand there is no such thing as honor killing. Murder is Murder. God pukes at any type of violence no matter if justifiable including honorkilling and indirect Murder which their mother has also committed.
God gave these people the gift of two beautiful daughters, and have selfishly acted against God by taking the lives of the gift given to them.

I always felt so sad since hearing about this. These girls will never have a life of their own or a chance to be a better protecting mother than their mother ever was. She WENT back to a man who was abusive and a threat to her and her two daughters. A mother is to protect! She did not do that. They lost their lives because of her ultimate decision she could never come back from. The mother couldn’t let go of him. Like she couldn’t be without him. She murdered them too.
