Police say Yaser Said, a former fugitive on the FBI's Top Ten List, shot his teenage daughters, 18-year-old Amina and 17-year-old Sarah, outside an Irving hotel in 2008.

A Dallas jury unanimously found Yaser Said guilty of killing his two teen daughters, Sarah and Amina Said.

Judge Chika Anyiam sentenced Said to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors said Said, a native of Egypt, was angry that his daughters were dating and that the boys were not Muslim. They claim in a 911 call from the night of the murders, Sarah said her father was attacking her.

Said's defense attorney said he will be filing a notice to appeal.

The mother shouldn't get a free pass! She was in a position to save her children, but voluntarily decided against it.

He is not accused of murder, he DID murder his daughters.

One of the daughters is on record (video-recording) in the back of the cab dying speaking to 911 telling them their dad shot them.

Stop sugar-coating disgusting actions and call them for what they are.

Let's not forget that those girls older brother and uncle helped try to hide the dad and sided with him. Glad they got prison time too

The mother knew what he was capable of and told him where the girls were. This was a sad case.

It was a premeditated murder and the death penalty should be on table for consideration.

Oh man this was so long ago.. I remember listening to them on the 911 tape telling them they were dying and their dad was killing them.. Hurt my soul.. He killed them for just being teenagers...

This was horrible, apparently he has been hiding in plain sight for 12 years. Those girls deserve justice and the mother, the brothers ans other family members that hid him for 12 years also should be sitting right next to him

Nothing Islamic about this father and all the people who helped him evade justice for this long. Honor killing is nowhere in the Quran. There is no such thing. Only power and control were the motivation here. God was an excuse for this evil.
