'Honor Killings' Trial: Jury finds Yaser Said guilty

A Dallas jury unanimously found Yaser Said guilty of killing his two teen daughters, Sarah and Amina Said.

Judge Chika Anyiam sentenced Said to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Prosecutors said Said, a native of Egypt, was angry that his daughters were dating and that the boys were not Muslim. They claim in a 911 call from the night of the murders, Sarah said her father was attacking her.

Said's defense attorney said he will be filing a notice to appeal.

This story stayed with me for the whole 12 years and soon as it came up on my feed, I knew immediately the whole story and started celebrating right then and there.
I thought this man went back to his country and they were never going to find him and that tore a hole in my heart just thinking about this being a great possibility.
But today it is a hole that can now start to heal 12 years later thanks to you and the F.B.I. and anybody else who played a role in capturing this monster.

Look at the hypocrisy of this man, that is why I do not look at this at honor killing as terrible as that practice was, he was not religious to his faith as a Muslim he marries an American non Muslim child they said his wife was 15 when he married her. That alone should tell you the mindset of this murderer. It doesn't seem like he was going to mosque, I don't know but chances are he wasn't even praying the times they prayed. He was obsessed with his daughters, i do believe that he messed with them, maybe it wasn't as much that a doctor could make a full conclusion but I believe them. After all she said he would kill her and he did, he make crude comments about them while they were laying in bed with a camera no less, you could tell they were embarrassed by that, he was spying on his daughter while she was at work. What normal father does that to their teenagers, go in their bedroom without knocking or invited in, my conclusion he wanted his daughters for himself. He saw that they were trying to have make a life for themselves, fall in love and get married as young people do and he could have that, so he took them out on the pretense of something else and kill them with the help from maybe one or more of his brothers. I am glad he, his son and one of his brother will be doing time. I didn't want him to get the ultimate penalty, people like him should stay in jail knowing they will never get out and be someone wife in prison. That would be the ultimate punishment for him, never knowing when someone is going to pull him in a secluded area and use him.
