All these points you’ve given you’ve just discribed my ex Best mate in a nutshell especially regarding the money 💴 bit or the friendship being 1 sided. Also they’re never happy when you’ve got something good going in your life they get all defensive & angry 😡 about it cause they’re not involved in it. That’s when I decided to remove all contact with him; social media, messenger, phone calls etc all blocked. Felt happier after that.

I had an elderly relative who pretends to be destitute and thinks I owe it to her to feed and house her for free. She lived with me and promised to pay rent and did not, I rented her a house and she constantly tried to pull the elderly card and say she was deducting money from the rent, one month she paid me $125 to rent a 2100 square foot house. I sold the house and she’s angry, she stayed with me for a few days and ate like it was a free for all and laid in bed all day not helping. When I told her I did not have enough steaks for her supper last night she took off, that told me what she was after, back to the motel she went and we are so much better off. She even asked me to buy her a condo

The "Money" is a Classic. These folks are Grade A Leeches and they whine and plead that they need your help and no matter how many times you try to tell them you can't help them, they "Hear" but they don't "Listen". You are their Safety Net and they have nobody else to turn to. They need you to cover their being irresponsible with their Money.
