I love your channel. The actual cost of doing a free flap like yours is way more than $25k. You are lucky you had benevolent surgeons, anesthelogists and a hospital that charged you next to nothing. Your flap looks amazing and will get better over time. i’ve seen so many head and neck cancer patients have much more serious surgery and free flap reconstructions and 2 years later you couldn’t tell that they have ever had surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. You are obviously in great hands!

About 2 weeks ago I had Ankle surgery because I broke 2 bones from doing dumb stuff and in the end it should round up to about $40, 000 with insurance, and with each visit to the doctor costing me around $1, 000-2, 000 😬
