the things before and after, are actually life long. no processed food, not too much alcohol, no sugars, not too much carbs. Instead take, proteins, fibers and vitamines/minerals in whole foods. And if you would do that, maybe never need any surgery....i have had my lessons and changed life style. Better late than never.

I just had appendix surgery and I’m recovering and feeling a little great

update: the first period of recovery is just fasting and barely being able to walk, my surgery was sudden so I had no plans whatsoever to sort everything out.
I stayed in the hospital for a three or two weeks and I came home. I had difficulty being able to run or be productive but after I went on a trip I walked normally
This surgery is effective and will only last you a scar and nothing else,
Just make sure to eat correctly and recover with the guidance of your health care providers.

If your body does not have an appetite that is a good sign. A body heals and recovers much quicker with fasting. So make sure that you get a very high-quality electrolyte like the one from Vega sport hydrate. Not the Energizer. And make sure you supplement with magnesium glycinate, vitamin D3, vitamin K2 mk-7 and potassium. Don't forget about the pink salt. 😊😊

Eat vegetables like asparagus, spinach, kale, etc., and fish. Canned cod liver twice a week, two weeks after surgery, and during the whole month if not forever. No juices, soda, and, or, sugary stuff at all! Small amounts of cheese is good too! Sharp cheddar, Brie, bleu cheese ( on a small steak, of course) and goat cheese on a spinach and berry salad.

Yeah, that stuff's gross. I used to work in an elder care facility and tried it once. If I was really old, I'd request raw organic smoothies and whey protein shakes.

I had surgery yesterday, 6 oysters freshly cracked, 2 plates of salad veggies, 3 organic poached eggs with 5 mixed green leaves with no pesticides at all! It was delicious. Then took my supple, ents. Afternoon snack….red mixed berries, linseed, chia, 7 mixed nuts, cacao nibs and kefir yogurt. So satisfying. Sparkling water with raspberry lemonade made with cane not white sugar. I took fibre tablets but still no bowel movement and a swollen abdomen from the backing up and saline in the womb?

Ensure helped me tremendously! I highly recommend this powder to supplement any diet. It has gotten me through 2 surgeries and the doctors are amazed at how quickly I have healed. It may be processed but the benefits far outweigh this! 1 serving a day gives your body everything it needs to function at an optimum level.

A whole food plant based diet is the best. Fruit (berries are best), veggies (cruciferous, dark green leafy, and allium), whole grains (not bread but grains in their intact form with the groat), legumes (lentils, beans, pulses), nuts and seeds (raw and unsalted). Plenty of water (also green or hibiscus tea), sleep (by 10 o’clock), and exercise (mild following injury/surgery, moderate to vigorous any other time). Take 4, 000 to 10, 000 IU of vitamin D and 200mg of K2 everyday (no matter how much sunshine you get).
