Since the more expensive cards tend to have better cooling for the overclock, you can instead run the fans at a lower speed, getting the same temps and performance as other cards while decreasing noise

Generally they release cards at the msrp and higher model versions for higher orices aside from certain brands that intentionally sell higher end cards exclusively.

Also Nvidia does manufacturer their own cards, its the founders editions.
