Mallu kids born in Gulf have a different lifestyle compared to kids in kerala and kids in Western countries .We are kind of the mix of both. Unlike mallus born in western countries, we can at least speak fluent malayalam, some of us change our slang depending on the person we are talking to but most of us still cannot write in malayalam . We minimum know to speak at least 3 languages - malayalam, hindi and english . Unfortunately 95% of us still don't know to speak arabic even though we spent 17 years of our life there . And there are a lot more things to talk about us, we are just a different topic to be discussed on . I really think there should be a movie based on us (i wish it would be directed by Vineeth Screenivasan, it would be kind of a mix between Hridayam and Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam) . Whenever i comeback after vacation and is about to land "Ee Shishirakaalam" plays back in my head .
