The availability of varieties depends so much on the region! I know only a few of the ones mentioned and every country I've lived in so far had so many varieties I'd never heard of!

Nice video, but I came here wondering why apples specifically have so many hybrid types. It happens in other fruits, but not to that scale. You don't typically see a dozen types of bananas or mangoes on store shelves.
