its so funny how leanbeefpatty has so many funny memes, and this woman keeps a straight face listening to a farting noise, then talks professionally.

Without frozen veggies I’d be completely ruined. They’re a staple of my diet because they’re just so easy (and tasty)

Patty had learned intuitive eating through dietitians and learned how to eat right. I love that she doesn’t encourage scales due to eating disorders. ❤️

I really like Patty's silly approach to pretty serious topics. She's also just, like, super friendly and normal. Really motivated to work out more after finding her content tbh. I'll have to see if her plant based ideas help me get my wife satiated. She's...not really in full ED recovery and I constantly worry about her health (we live about 6k mi apart right now so I can't just make things for her and she actively avoids eating until it's a problem, a recent diagnosis with ADHD is not helping she's strugglin)

I always enjoy seeing these reviews of creators' meals and the way I never know what to expect when I select one lol. Good stuff. Keeping us on our toes, Abby.

Thank you for pointing out that all processed food isn't the same. Technically anything you do to a food is processing. Cutting, cooking, seasoning, dehydrating, and everything else is processing some of it is good for you and some of it isn't enhancing the nutrition of the product. Cooking for instance can enhance absorption of some nutrients and it can reduce some of the nutrients. It's not as simple as they make it out to be.

I appreciate how balanced and kind you are when it comes to being human and making personal food choices. Your voice is helping to shape my behavior and attitude around my own food relationship. Thanks!

LBP is a massive influence on me! She shares the same problem of not really eating protein first choice, so she has to actively track it or she won’t eat enough of it. I’m very much the same, and also struggled with ED in the past. She showed me some awesome ways to incorporate good food, tracking without becoming obsessed and also just an overall healthy mindset to working out. A lot of gym influencers are really borderline ED or food obsessed and I’ve put so much work in to avoid that. I struggled working out because I vehemently avoiding tracking my macros and found myself feeling worse due to not knowing how to make my diet fit my new lifestyle. Seeing forthright nutrition advice really helped me

Patty is the female Noel Deyzel. Or he is the male LBP. They are both so damn sweet and good natured, and you can clearly see that their purpose on social media is primarily to share hard earned knowledge because they REALLY revel in others success. Their honesty about their respective origins and the hurdles that they have faced and struggled with has shown a LOOOT of people that even the ones who look like real-life superheroes are still human too…and that’s nothing to be ashamed of.

Side note…if most gym rat guys took leg day even half as seriously as LBP, we’d see a LOT fewer guys strutting around looking like upside down bowling pins.

I go through a gallon of water (sometimes 1.5 gallons) a day depending on the Arizona temperature throughout the year (I also work outside) but during the winter I don't get anywhere near a gallon because I don't sweat as much. I think the water is more about how your muscles feel and how much you sweat. So one way to gauge water intake is how sore your muscles feel, if your REALLY sore, your severely dehydrated and need water and broth (sometimes Pedialyte but doesn't always work but a little is good)

I always love what you have to say Abbey!! I also have a history of anorexia, bulimia and over exercising and you've actually helped me so much in my own recovery from disordered eating. I use so much of what you say on a daily basis and my relationship with food has gotten so much better. Thank you! Love from LA 🤗❤❤💕💕💕 and ps, your hair looks great! 😍

Hi abbey. Love your content! And this video was actually quite refreshing! Right after this I ended up watching Tati Westbrooks new video which is a QA about her diet and other topics she decided to share with her followers. I was wondering if you would be interested in sharing your opinion from an RDs perspective about that video. I think you would understand why once you watch it. Thanks always for the amazing advice and tips you give. Your videos helped me so much through my disordered eating and your approach to nutrition was (and is still) a big part in my health journey. Thanks again!!

Abbey - you have become one of my absolute faves on here. You are just so REASONABLE, KIND, and EVIDENCE-BASED which is so A+. Thank you for making me aware of Lean Beef Patty - she seems like someone else i'll enjoy following. Am i correct that you're based in Toronto, which is my home base too? Any chance you'd consider video of some of your favourite Toronto spots (restaurants, grocery stores, wellness places, etc?) I used to feel so in-the-know but over the past few years my own habits have changed and post-Covid so much has closed and so many new spaces have popped up, I could use a little help navigating whats good.

Kinda weird calling tofu, edamame and quinoa, "mediterranean" from an Italian viewer 🤣but I understand the concept behind it! 😊bye
