Come on…. We nurses work very hard & when I first started in the 1980’s, my paycheck was $750 the first 2 weeks. It slowly grew through the years … & so did my workload. I’ve seen births working in maternity & many deaths . It is humbling being a nurse. Many life lessons learned from patients, colleagues, & doctors. Lots of BS I had to put up with….. difficult patients & families, only a handful of titled doctors, staff drama… & management issues. But, I still enjoy my job🙏🏼. It’s all about humanity, care, compassion & passion. We nurses earn what we work for. I’ve been doing this profession for 44 years! I love it ❣️✊🏼🙏🏼🤗

I am in the UK, have 5 university degrees, 15 years of experience, and companies offer £40k to £50k a year. Plus over 40% tax from the government. Time to move countries.
