1. Eat enough calories to loose weight, too much of calorie deficit doesn't burn calories.

4. medicate to recover from stress
5. check for any hormonal issues or any underlying diseases.

If you are walking 10000 steps but not losing weight, it only means one thing. Your eating is not right. Fix that and walking will work.
Wait at least an hour after waking up before eating breakfast, finish supper by 7 pm, avoid excess sugar and salt, minimize manufactured food in packets.
That's it.

You can always put your headphones or earphones and play your favourite music ( mostly energetic) while walking and do the hand moments and little dances between it actually helps a lot instead of just keeping your hands at one place

It all depends on what you eat, most people also lose weight just by changing to a healthier diet and no exercise.

You could exercise daily for two hours, but if your not eating right and healthy, its no use.

Stop perpetuating the idea that calories are most important to count, whether it's through how much we've consumed or burned off. Most people can't even calculate the calories that are solely responsible for keeping us alive and yet we stress ourselves out by meeting dumb goals like calorie counting.

I made 10k steps yesterday and yet my fitbit told me I was in my "Zone Minutes" for only about 10 minutes. This means that my heart rate was only in the fat burning zone for 10 minutes but that doesn't mean I didn't get enough steps or burn any calories or that somehow me being in a heart rate zone will determine how much fat I lose.
