It’s definitely not a scam… anyone can call themselves anything and do a poor job. Life coaches has helped me a lot through my career as a a professional athlete. Some better than others but still, nonetheless they all provided a perspective which I used to become better.

Anybody could wake up and be a handyman too and come into your home and rummage through your underwear drawer too, but I doubt people are going to do that. Life coaches feel called to help others, that should be a prerequisite, as well as training.

In the same notion of “slapping” in front of their name, that applies to any skill that doesn’t require a degree or license of some sort. At the end of the day nothing will grow unless you’re proving results and value.

Lls the world has ppl thinking that you need a certificate to be who GOD has already gave you authority to be. You don't need a government or accreditation to tell you how to be a life coach, life experiences teaches you that, hence why you have so many ppl that paid to go to college and don't even work in that field. Let's get this low vibrational thinking out of our mind.

It is essential for individuals to put in the necessary effort and work. The issue lies in two aspects: skilled coaches need to effectively guide individuals through the process of overcoming limiting beliefs, while individuals themselves must be willing to put in the work. Some people seek quick fixes, but it is important to remember that there are both good and bad individuals in every profession. Instead of criticizing the coaching industry, it would be more constructive to provide positive feedback on how it can further evolve and make a greater impact. There are renowned coaches with effective methods, and while YouTube may have its drawbacks, it does not mean that there are not valuable resources available on the platform. It is important to distinguish between those who provide meaningful content and those who simply make noise without substance.

It’s not a scam unless you are abusing any system and deceiving people. That goes with anything. Most people today are scammed into college degrees that they truly can do absolutely nothing with. Knowledge is key.

Because it’s not regulated by the government, which has proved to be the biggest scam artist does not make it a scam man because you were not able to succeed don’t try to ruin it for everyone else proof pudding people know how to scout for what they want

Teachers are obtaining degrees, yet some are facing legal consequences for violating ethical standards, while doctors are committing fraud within the healthcare system. Numerous industries remain unregulated, but efforts are being made to establish regulations.

Medical aestheticians are performing procedures without proper oversight in certain provinces, allowing individuals to learn through online platforms and falsely claim the title.

Recently, more regions have begun implementing regulations to address this issue. Despite the lack of regulation, individuals have the choice to uphold integrity and pursue further education beyond basic courses.


The absence of industry regulations does not justify unethical behavior; it ultimately comes down to personal decisions and ethical standards.

Fitness instructors not all take a short course and work at gyms. They are not necessarily kinsiologists. Not all provinces regulate medical aesthetics, yet we are quick at having lasers put on our face with lack of knowlege. As for udemy. They clearly state their courses is to add flavour to our curiosity pallette. Its up to each person to have the integrity to remain in their own scope of practice.

The only real certification is through an ICF accredited course, which is what I did. I am a CLC certified life coach. Classes 3x a week for several months, assessments and a final exam.
Then you are registered and can work towards your ICF associates, professional or masters certification.

Let me introduce you to the term "handyman." A good one is worth their weight in gold.

A trash one is a dime a dozen. But people will often do stupid things to save a few $.

I'm starting to feel the same way about channels that help increase subscriber counts... The real ones are being drowned out.

"Con" is short for confidence. It seems to me that life coaching and business coaching have a large number of people running cons. People will have confidence that business ownership and life can be easy. Neither one is easy.

You know the problem with social media is generalisation. If I listen to that I’d be very discouraged. I’ve lived 69 years. I’ve seen business this coming go I’ve taken Life Coaching. I’m a Reiki grandmaster. I find it offensive what you say scam scam scam Pam Pam Pam.
