Crazy New Feature On Ford Trucks!

Today I show a safety feature with Ford's column shifter on the 2023 Ford F-150!

Imagine ur truck breaks down but you have to push it in neutral but the dam collum keeps going back to park when u open the door 😂

As somebody who work on cars all day and have to precisely align them on the floor for lifts this feasture really tends to bite you right in the ass man

The real scary part is that they felt it necessary to make this feature

Imagine growing up thinking its safe to exit a vehicle without putting it in park. Then getting into another vehicle that doesn't have that feature and realizing the car is now out of control.

Dodge had this in 2006. I remember my dad, a contractor at the time, losing his shit whenever he would open the door to get a good luck while reversing. The truck would beep and go into park.

It also has a great new feature where if you miss enough payments it drives itself back to the dealer.

Ford pickup drivers really needed this feature

That’s such a great idea because when the sensor starts to go out it’ll just put your truck in reverse and then into park while scooting down the freeway lol. Not everything has to be computer controlled and dumbed down, some people actually enjoy driving and don’t need/want to be chauffeured around in every way. For example, If you can’t remember to put your truck in park before getting out of it, i don’t think you should be driving in general but hey what do i know lol
