My 2019 Ram 1500 has that feature plus it puts on the parking brake if the engine is running and you open up the door

Yeah electric parking brake and drum brakes for 23. Ill stay with the 22

I'm not sure I'm digging that servo controlled shifter....better not miss a payment...lol..Ford will lock that down for you...

the newer jeeps have something like this but it’s way worse than ford 😭it’ll immediately put the trans in park even tho the shifter is in drive if the door is ajar. was pulling one into the bay and the slam into park was so violent 💀💀

I feel like its more of a seat sensor thing rather than just opening the door but a video going into more detail about it would be very nice

In a city where carjacking is a sport, this seems like a terrible idea. Even tho my doors are always locked, still don't want to aide and abet the criminals. Also fyi the automatic braking feature gets turned off, easy way to get boxed in and carjacked. And yes they've tried (and failed) to jack my ride
