Would it not be easier and less expensive to just give it colomb shifter and still have a fold out table with out any extra electronics to potentially break and have some weight saved? Maybe it's me.

I think the new 12” screen looks great, in my opinion more practical and natural to use than rams version even if the longer ram design man look more futuristic, I’m all about practicality

Ford made the improvements where they needed to. It’s a solid truck with a minimal amount of gimmicks, but plenty of new and useful updates. Nope, it’s not a Cybertruck. I (along with the majority of truck buyers) do not want a “door stop” as a truck.

alright, gotta admit, I was sort of feeling let down when the spy photos were released but now I'm really liking this new truck - I hope they introduce the new raptor with the 5.2 V8 to combat the market encroachment from the TRX (which I bet will be legit).

Definitely an upgrade, i believe interior was possibly down played some by TFL. Clean lines, larger screen, front end update... It’s a win in my opinion. Go Ford.

The hybrid battery doesn't need to be big. From an engineering standpoint, it's role is to give a boost during acceleration and to regenerate back when load requirements are low. They sized it based on computer simulations using parameters such as weight, engine size, electric motor size, acceleration performance, mpg, etc.
