Great video Dr. Berry. Wish I lived closer to your neck of the woods, All the doctors here are Pills, Pills, Pills!!! And when you get Sicker from all the pills, guess what? Here's another Pill. What happened to "First, Do NO Harm!"

I do 18/6 and to be honest i have to force myself to do that first meal cause i am so satiated it is amazing, i was once 415lbs now 165 cause of keto

I am a newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic, 2 weeks ago.
My Dr referred me to a 'diabetic awareness' meeting with a nutritionist.
She told me I needed to eat 3 meals a day with 45 grams of carbs per meal. I brought up IF, Dr Fung and the studies showing the benefits.
She just dismissed it and would not even discuss it.
Needless to say, I am going to ignore her and continue Keto and 16/8 IF.

I've been researching the Keto plan for several days now.You're approach is definitely just common sense teaching. I'm sticking with you because you explain things without all of the confusing extra medical information that a lot of us don't understand. Your videos don't focus on promoting pills and supplements and items you need to run out and purchase! I like that!

Great work Dr Berry. Greetings from Ireland. I am 38, 6' and last Saturday weighted 210lbs. Started doing 20:4 intermittent fasting and carnivore since then and in 5 days since I have lost 10.2 lbs. Feeling great physically and mentally.

I started with 16 hours fasting. Today I was busy at work and I only ate 1 meal in 24 hours. Its the first time in 10+ years that ive done that. Plus Ive lost 10lbs in 3 weeks. Ive never successfully lost weight. AND Im less hungry than Ive been in a long long time.

Great vid, as usual, Doc. I've been watching your vids for about a month, and now plan on going keto this year. I'm spending January on the Carnivore diet to clean out my system.

Started my one-month Carnivore Jan 1st, with intermittent fasting. I eat twice a day (gotta have my breakfast eggs), once in the morning and once in the evening. I started waiting for breakfast a little bit longer (half hour increments), and dinner a little bit earlier (half hour increments), just to see if I could do it. After the fourth day (day three was the hardest), I still wasn't hungry come dinner time but ate anyway for fear I'd get hungry later and break the fast.

Started my IF as 12-12, then worked down to 14-10, and after only a week, I'm on the 16-8 IF.

Now I'm thinking of pushing it a little bit longer, say 17 or 18 hour fast, with less time for my two meals. (Still want the two meals because I eat dinner with my wife - and she doesn't like eggs for dinner.) What do you think? (FYI: I've already last 6 pounds, but recognize that most of that has to be water weight.)

Doc Berry. Thanks for the video.. Intuitively i.e. listening to my body, I was able to find my optimum fasting window. Listening to you and others on youtube, I was able to not make the intermittent fasting mistakes.

I can now do a 22/23 hour fast on this keto journey. I've had great results. I only do it 1 -2 times per week.
