What i highly recommend to make it easier is to do keto first strict for a month to lose your appetite then do IF 16/8 then after a week try One meal a day it will be a breeze if you take it one day at a time if you struggle

Unfortunately, I got into the OMAD deal and found that I could not consume enough calories in my eating window. My weight loss stalled. I am now trying to reset myself. I will take a month of eating 3 meals a day while still maintaining ketosis and in a month or so will go back to intermittent fasting but maybe a 24 hour fast once or twice a week. As always, a great informative video!

I’ve not heard folks advocate Bulletproof coffee during a fast, but have heard fat alone does not have a metabolic effect and so isn’t overly harmful. May I ask for clarification in a future video? Thank you for all you do!

Dear Dr Nick. Hoping you are well. I wanted to ask, during extended fasts like over 18 hours where there is no intake of any calories for a long time, how does this not affect your metabolism? Is a long term fast a good thing to do then? Thank you.

Hi!! I have a question... I had 3 weeks doing a keto diet... then i had a cheat meal... and of course I got out of ketosis.. then i fast for 24 hours... and I went back into ketosis right after those 24 hours... (78 glucose and 0.6 ketones...) my question if is that possible and if so... I wanna know if I should keep fasting for more days during that week or because I was in ketosis I just can go back to my normal plan!!!

Please I need some advice here!

Been keto and IF for 5 months lost fair amount of weight. I had insulin tested and is still abnormally high. A1c came down from 6.2 to 5.6 . Kidney function not that great. GFR 5.9 high creatinine and high potassium. No real answers from doctors? Frustrated...
