I’m was diagnosed diabetic Oct of last year (2022). I have cut out sugar, flour, pasta, rice, cornmeal and processed foods. I also have my last meal by 3pm and start eating around 6:45am to 7am. My breakfasts are usually heavy on protein like 2 links of organic chicken sausage, 2 homegrown eggs scrambled with cheese, 2 plums and a homemade iced coffee. I have a small bite (usually a bit of cheese) around 11am and then my lunch/dinner combo around 2-2:30pm. I have lost 92lbs and A1C is at 4.7…… I shop the outside edges of the store produce, some dairy, meat, some frozen meat and veggies… I do have all sorts of foods including fruits, as they are usually my carbs. My body has loved my new way of eating and I feel much healthier. My sugar has stayed steady even after being taken off Metformin. I do believe I am close to, if not already achieved, remission!

I’ve been intermittent fasting for over a year. I am 62 and I weigh less than I had in college. I listen to my body and only eat when truly hungry, usually around 1 or 2pm. My first meal is a homemade Kale/spinach smoothie along with herbal supplements. I feel amazing and will continue this practice

Intermitten fasting has been my lifestyle since April. I love how it had simplified my life. Less cooking and it's great.

I've been hearing about fasting for the last couple of years. I just thought it was like a new diet fad, until I started doing the research!! This is not a diet, and weight loss is just one of the MANY health benefits. I am still learning things about it that blows my mind. I have only been doing it for a couple of months, but this is my new life ❤

I eat a huge meal for breakfast, a large meal for lunch, and then nothing much at all for dinner. It’s helped immensely with my insomnia at night and has helped me develop a better sleeping routine/schedule. How can your body truly rest if it’s working to digest a large dinner?

I'm early to bed & early to rise. I have two meals. Breakfast at like 8 a.m and dinner at 2 ish. I believe it's healthier to go to sleep on a empty stomach. People wouldn't believe the energy you gain by not eating bunches of food everyday. I was taught "food is energy" but that's a lie, it depends and portions are vip.

I love you so much, but my doctor said with my adrenal issues I’m best to eat small meals throughout my day. But this does work for others.❤

Hello from Italy.I'm 50 years old and have been fasting 16 to 18 hours for the past 5 weeks and my PMS was much 'smoother' this time around! I would like to take it up a notch and go for a 20 hour fasting but I worry this may slow down my metabolism and backfire. Thank you so much. Francesca

Thanks for the useful info, I'm turning 50 next year and intermittent fasting makes me feel better 😊. One thing though... it would have been easier to follow without the music!

I've read and heard over and over again that cortisol rises during fasting, something that kills the weight loss efforts of we midlife women b/c menopause itself causes cortisol to rise. So frustrating to see contradictions! I just want the real answer on this so I can help myself.

I started IF and Keto May 27th and I have lost 40lbs. I haven't started the gym yet so I am sure I will lose more once I incorporate exercise into my routine. I turn 41yrs old Oct 2nd.

I can vouch for the weight loss. Doing IF for a little over a week and already lost 8 lbs. 2 or 3 meals a day no snacking
