There's an old Swedish mushroom book written by a guy that categorically tried eating every kind of mushroom found in Sweden. Yes, even the poisonous ones. Since the mushrooms weren't documented before he didn't know all the poisonous ones before so he just tested every mushroom. The effect it had on him was documented and the poisonous ones were noted differently than the edible mushrooms. That man knew he was teetering on the edge but he did it for science.

the problem with poisonous mushrooms is that they might kill you days or weeks after eating because they sometimes need really long to kick in. also there are many shrooms that just do really bad stomach pain and diarrhea so you might die from that or not just depends on the situation and maybe how you cook it. fly agaric has psychedelic effects and cooked like a tea and prepared correctly it is consumeable but if you do it wrong your stomach pain will be insane.

We actually did find close relatives to the Megalodon. Not THE Megalodon, but similar deep sea sharks of notable size. Plus them and whales tend to tangle with the giant squid.

Also, saying there's just a bunch of isopods is just flat out ignoring the more alien things you guys just have no idea of. Like, yeah, there is a large variety of isopods. But there's shit like THE GIANT SIPHONOPHORE. Which looks and acts like a singular creature, but is actually a colony of smaller organisms that form this sort of large filament or membrane that can glow and acts like their singular body.

I work in hospitality, and whenever bring a table a bottle of water,
I usually call it,
"Our finest bottle of Warragamba White"
Because most of the water in our state (NSW) comes from the warragamba dam.
