People and their damn opinions. If you want to drink your coffee, drink it! If people are offended by you drinking coffee, they’ve got bigger problems. You are lovely just the way you are! ❤

OMG- drink your coffee :) Coffee brings comfort and joy if you like it (I don't but I love tea). It is not an aesthetic LOL

My family has had to cut toxic people out of our lives in order to simplify and have peace in our Ives. Sometimes we have no choice for the sake of our sanity.
It’s unfortunate but true.😢

Re: the coffee - It only looks false if it IS false! I love sipping my tea or coffee along with you, and a few others I watch. It's lovely and comforting.

I decided years ago that I just don't do things that I am going to resent. If I agree to do something, it means that I cannot then resent the person or the action...because I agreed to it with full knowledge of how it would go, and knowing that I am responsible for managing my own expectations and emotions. Accepting absolute responsibility for my choices simplifies everything.

Love this video. It really spoke to me - every one of them. Now that I''m retired, I have been in this state of stillness. However, I must be careful not to allow others to direct my retirement life with their agenda or make me responsible for their life ( keeping them on track of their workouts, stressing over whether they are prepared for their engagements). I'm trying to gracefully say "No thank you". I will be listening to this video again.

You're lucky to have the options you mentioned. Doing work you like, deciding who you spend time with, only thinking about positive things, etc. So many people work crappy jobs & have to deal with the public, which can be horrible. Or they live in a dysfunctional family situation & have abusive relatives.

Love your energy and your relaxing voice. Keep on doing what you are doing. I find it interesting that so many (myself included) are wanting to revert to a simpler time: less social media, less complex diets and less product consumption, etc.

There are other content creators that have their tea or coffee. People are mean. I am like you so much. I hate drama, alarms, the news and early morning appointments. I love your channel.

Wow... I just had this exact same realization today, and now I'm watching your video! Overempathizing isn't helping my mental well-being and it's certainly not taking the pain away from those you feel so deeply for. I am starting to read Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself, and it has given me the perspective to rethink how I can support others while maintaining my own happiness and health. Thank you for sharing this today:) Lots of great points here.

I feel the forcing friendships. I never felt like I had enough friends. Now I’m so happy with the 3 friends I have. 😊 It’s so natural.

Mia Danielle, I applaud you! I just wish you had an even bigger platform because this video should be seen by everyone.

Your lists are always long and comprehensive. As someone with ADHD it takes a lot of mental effort to even get started with listening but in the end it’s always worth it. Thank you!❤

It's true that not everyone is nice and some people just have abrasive or antagonistic personalities.

Those people bring out the worst in me, but we can't let them dull our sparkle!

Love, love, love this video. I never think anything of people drinking tea, coffee in videos. I struggle with patience too. I pray everyday God will give me patience lol. These are really great ideas. Thanks again!

Don't know why I came across your channel today, but I sure am glad I did. I am considerably older that you are, but not wiser. I wish I had been open to all these suggestions about simplifying my life sooner. I am glad you did, and I am certainly glad I found your video, which has opened my eyes to many such problems that could have been avoided. Thanks
