This is exactly my situation. I bought a car because I thought it could motivate me to stay in the job I hated. I go out every weekend and be happy for a day until Monday comes again. I always have a mental break down before I start working. My attitude changed so much it affected my relationship with my husband. I always vent and lash out at him. I quit my job this month even if it meant my income would be cut in half and even if I lost a friend because of that decision. I no longer care if I lose the car I just bought. It's just not worth it. I decided to just live simply with a peace of mind.

I had this feeling of dissatisfaction, self hatered, and quiting in every job. The moment I quit I always felt the most happier.

I quit my job 5 months ago, also without any 'real' plan. I'm also turning 29 in 2 months. Thank you for encouraging people to keep going and not losing faith! Greetings from Greece!

Putting in my 2 week notice next week. I'm tired of the abuse from jealous bosses. I realize they're jealous for good reason, I BELONG in the spotlight!

"I couldn't handle the gap between my dreamy weekend and the reality."

This resonates with me sooo much, which is why I finally decided to resign a few days ago. Watching your video makes me feel like I definitely did the right thing. Thank you so much for sharing your journey! It's such an important message. ❤

I love that YouTube recommends me new smaller YouTubers. Your cutting and story telling skills are very impressive. Normally this quality. Only 100k YouTubers do

I totally understood when she said that she didn´t even know who she was anymore. It happened the same for me working as a teacher, so I quit this past week, and now my need is to give myself time to find myself again and follow my gut.

Glad to hear your story. I just left my career of 19 years in the finance industry. I’m 45 and also thought to my self why am I giving my life and energy for someone else. It’s never too late to make this move. I’ve never been happier, I’m able to focus on my family and my business. Anyone can do it, when you put your mind to it.

Interesting take with a lot of great points.. I quit my 9-5 about 3 years ago and returned to it this year because I realized that as much as I hated the cons it came with, it still came with a lot of benefits as well.. and I realized having that safety net right now is extremely important, especially when you have people relying on you like a significant other. I learned that we can have a 9-5 and do something creatively, but we just give ourselves excuses to NOT do the thing because we're worn out with our jobs. There's going to be different seasons of your life that demands different things from you and knowing how to deal with them is important. At the end of the day, I don't think there's 1 answer to these complex issues, but I learned to continue and persevere no matter what season I'm in.

Hope this helps someone!

This is such an inspiring video. I loved it when you said "You are replaceable". Last night I was talking to my friend about how I cannot take a leave because who will do my work andwhe I heard talk about being replaceable, it just struck me that literally everyone can be replaced.
We need to prioritise ourselves.

I'm not yet successful, still in debt, but so tired of my work. I feel guilty that I "hate" my job but I am thankful for it that I can feed my cats and pay my bills. But I still feel so miserable everyday lol. Maybe 1 day after paying all the debts and save money for my cats, I can finally be able to "quit". Congratulations to you. Please take care of your health!

I just turned 26 last Sunday and I am planning to quit my 9-5 job. Yes, I am scared to let go of this job because I have bills to pay, but I am now ready to embark on a new journey to do the things I really want to do and go out of my comfort zone. thanks for this 🥰🥰✨✨

Is someone stalking what's going on in my life? Because the timing of YT recommending this video to me is so amazing! I have the exact same thoughts it's crazy! It feels like, finally someone understands what I'm going through. I'm finishing my job turnover in 2 weeks and I can't wait to embrace my freedom! THANK you for this video and definitely will be following your journey. Good luck to us!
