If you flare your elbows out to about 60-70 degrees from your body while lying on a flat bench, you’ll place more emphasis on the middle fibers of your chest. If you keep your elbows tucked, you'll shift more of the workload to your triceps, reducing the focus on your chest. If you use an underhand grip, you will target more of the upper portion of your chest. If you hold one dumbbell with both hands and lower it above your head while keeping your elbows slightly bent and fixed, you’ll engage both your chest and lats.

Reversing your grip will only make it more uncomfortable. It wont suddenly target upper chest lol.

So I'll do standing Curls and standing overhead raises until I get stronger

Or buy a decline bench

Don't flare your elbows out keep a 45\60 degree bend to not have any shoulder impingements and dumbell lat pullovers don't train the lats

You can emphasize the chest OR the lats, not both, with pullovers. Depends how you them. Both will be worked to some degree, but only one of them can be emphasized.
