This looks like a real burpee.
Most of the crossfit burpee tutorials show the person flopping to the ground uncontrolled then doing a shit pushup with zero core engagement hips still on the ground.

I've been wanting to give Burppees a try ever since I started working out at my pops local gym to add to my routine at some point. Thanks for the simple video. Might give this a shot someday in the upcoming future.

You should do all variations of push ups: diamond, narrow, wide, archer or one arm, pike or handstand, superman, Spiderman or Scorpion, incline and decline.

Also don't neglect sit-ups, do the bicycles as sets then burn out with sit-ups, flutter kicks and/or leg raises, and oblique sit ups and/or oblique v ups.

Can't forget the squats, wide stance, close stance, pistol squats(aided or unaided), lateral squats, lunges and for burn outs mountain climbers and/or burpees

Don't stop until you can't no more then STRUGGLE for five more. Track your progress. 😌

I think the point is not letting your chest and knees touch the ground when you do the pump.

Will this become the new CrossFit Burpee standard? The demo is what I have always thought a Burpee is but not what I see most CrossFit athletes doing.
