Doing Burpees will make you engage and strengthens so many different muscles and parts of your body all at the same time. And the best part is you can do it anywhere, anytime, without any extra equipment.

Where can it go wrong?
During this exercise, it’s crucial to maintain a neutral spine and activate the core.

In this video, you’ll see a common mistake many people make while performing Burpees.

The movement from the bottom of the squat to the pushup position and back to the bottom of the squat requires a large amount of hip flexion. In most cases, the back has to round in order to reach the floor from the Squat and back to the squat. It requires some impressive flexibility to keep your back straight throughout this whole exercise.

Burpee with a full squat and jump! The most comprehensive exercise going and unfortunately rarely done. Mix these in with pullups and you have a fantastic workout that hits all the major muscle groups and it's great cardio too. Thank you!

The burpee has a dumb name but don't let that fool you. It's probably the best overall excersize in existence. Cardio, consistency, upper and lower body, explosiveness etc. I am working on implementing this into my schedule 3 times a day if only it was taught properly in schools and shown how much it can do for you.

All Fours position (rather than going straight down into a squat) allows a much smoother burpee in my experience

The use of a block or stool may be a requirement for most people, the lower back injury risk is just too high to play around with it if you are already injured or had previous injuries on the lower back

Is a pushup really a pectortal focused excersize? I thought it mostly focused on triceps and shoulders?

I mix in pull up variations with burpees. Doing this and running combination have helped my fat ass increase cardio in a major way.

I’m still fat, but incredibly flexible and can run up to 6 miles at 6 mph without stopping.
