In this video I go over why I decided to go back to Comcast/Xfinity for my home internet. It was not easy to admit I was wrong but I was. Thanks for watching. Please like, comment, and subscribe.

I dumped costly Xfinity and switched to $50 T Mobile. Terrible customer service and kept increasing the service. Haven’t being happier

You gotta go with what works best for you. I watched your last video where you were only getting around 20 megabits down. That shouldn't have been that low was was probably the reason things were buffering when multiple people were using the internet at the same time. Without seeing any screenshots of your signal strength meters all we can do is speculate.

I was a Comcast subscriber myself and I lost count of how many times I had problems with the service. It would go a month where everything slowed to near nothing. Online gaming was impossible with 2k+ pings. Then everything would start working fine again on it's own for six months or so till it did it again. I signed up for the T-mobile service as soon as it came out here and I've mostly been happy. I get a consistent 400mbps down and 15-20mbps up. I will say it took an absurd amount of trial and error to find the best spot in the house.

Bee safe and happy gaming!

Thanks for the video! You confirmed what we're currently experiencing. Like you, we'd had Xfinity for years, weren't all that happy, etc. TMobile had an incredible deal, and we've been long-time TMobile cell users. Made sense to at least try switching. Two weeks in, I'm ready to throw TMobile's equipment in the middle of the freeway. Speed test download is 17.9 and as I write this, your video has buffered twice! Their modem says only 2 of our devices are connected whereas all 10 are (phones included). Customer service / troubleshooting is absolutely no use whatsoever. I'm headed back to Xfinity, hoping to negotiate a better price plan.

It depends on your location on how your t mobile home internet performs. I live right around the corner from a 5g tower. I'm actually getting faster speeds with t mobile than I did with xfinity.

Hey Ed! Suppose it starts buffering and its just you? Comcast baby. Always on the buffers. Comcast does suck. You weren't wrong about Comcast. For god's sake don't apologize to crooks.

Please don’t feel guilty for making your video, you may have helped a lot of people. I’m about to cut my comcast cord. They just raised my cost to $228 per month with no premiums like hbo or starz so I’m done. Giving T-Mobile a try and YouTube tv.

Thanks for the honest video. I dumped Comcast at the beginning of Jan 2023. I have Verizon 5G Home Internet for $50 per month with the price guaranteed for 10 years. It works great here in NJ and I haven't had any problems with it.
I also have YouTube TV which I find is just as good, if not better than Comcast. YTTV will be raising their price to $73 per month in April, but I will still be paying less than I was with Comcast.
There are no taxes or fees with Verizon or YTTV.
Comcast is running a special now for internet only with 200 mbps for $25 per month for two years. Taxes and fees are additional, which I am not sure what the amounts to.
It is something I am considering to save even more money.

Cellular home internet is really geared more towards those who can’t get fiber home internet. T-Mo has completely over sold their home internet service.

I had to cancel my T-mobile home internet also. But mine could go from great speeds to no internet at all and regular router re-boots. I exchanged it for a different router and spent a long time on the phone wuth tech support but nothing worked. I now have 300mps FiOS for $49.99 a month and it works well.

We lived in the mountains of Colorado and to my surprise…..T-Mobile works so awesome that our friend on the area are dumping Verizon and AT&T since they find out we have 9 security cams and my daughters do school online. Damn!! We’re so happy Back in Jx Fla. T-Mobile suck. But here…man!! We’re loving it. 🤙🏾

Comcast/Xfinity and other cable internet providers have been a monopoly with almost no alternative. Yes, they offer a special low-cost first year price but the they increase that price every year until it reaches $80. Yes, $80 per month for the internet and you get stuck at paying the high cost. Then along comes T-Mobile and Verizon Home Internet. Finally another option. I signed up for T-Mobile ($50) but then received a $10 discount because I have a T-Mobile cellphone. So I only pay $40 per month (no contract and no increases in the price each year). PLUS---They are sending me a check for $200 for switching!!!

So far, (I have been measuring my bandwidth speed every week) I am getting excellent download measurements. ZERO buffering. Keep in mind, I live by myself so I don't have a lot of other devices on at the same time. But I give T-Mobile a thumbs-up. I agree with your first video....bye bye Comcast!

I forgot to say that I have my own router which is a netgear nighthawk gaming router. I run an ethernet cable from my router which is located in the front part of my house to my ps5 in my bedroom.

What sux is that as consumers, we really don't have enough choices. Don't be sorry for the other video, you are just reflecting the frustration you and so many other customers have to go through with chomecast.

It all depends on your signal. Your location. In over a year, I've not had that issue with 8 devices.

As you said, if it was just you it would have been fine. I guess that's why I am right to stick with T-Mobile 5G Home Internet. I hope you still feel the same way should they start increasing your pricing every two years. I'm going to be able to purchase a MacBook Air for all the money I've saved from the transition. Then again, it's only me!

So far I am loving T mobile home internet I was paying for spectrum internet almost 105.94 in Texas that a lot by switching over now paying only 55 dollars that a big saving. For me my download speed the lowest I seen so far was 50 download speed and with the new router the speed been great not perfect the speed has improve a lot also depend on the time of day as well on the download speed it can go up or down but it enough to power everything in the house and smart devices.

I dumped Comcast and I got wifi from Frontier for 40 bucks a month. Then I installed a streaming device: Google chromecast. You can also buy a device like Roku or Firestick. Then I subscribed to Youtube TV with an add on of HBO max. Total monthly cost: 115 bucks. I was paying 300 bucks a month with Comcast, and they notified me that my rate would increase. I am a single woman so there are not multiple people running devices in my home. If you are single or a couple, I highly recommend this. I get no delays, interruptions, or buffering. This may not work well for a family of four using multiple devices.
