My only gripe with the sentinel is the bolt action reload. I always lose track of my target every time it goes trough that so usually the Tempo almost never comes into play as by the time I have readjusted they have already gone to cover.

It's easy, assuming you satisfy 2 conditions:

-the enemy is still
-the enemy is not shooting back at you to throw off your aim.

Sentinel is just really fun, slap a 3x on it and carry around a flatline for emergencies and I've got a fun game

Longbow has still way higher fire rate while only inflicting 15 damage less (+ headshot damage multiplier is higher even without skullpiercer)

I'd pick the sentinel up more often if the travel speed of the bullets would be higher, but it is only barely.

Had a point blank Sentinal v Sentinal battle in a random pub match two days ago. We both picked it up apon landing and started the whole "ads fire, crouch, ads, uncrouch" dance and we both must have missed 3 to 4 shots each. We also we able to armor swap whites so it went on longer than it should have since we both kept missing. and it was so much fun! I did win but his team killed me after. The sentinal sucks.

The potential damage per stack of ammo is insane with the sentinel, and now that the wingman uses sniper ammo you'll always be able to stay topped up. Definitely a great weapon to run for wars of attrition

I have actually recently fell in love with the sentinel. Usually during a 1v1 I can get that initial 70/88 off and whip out the other gun.

The sentinel is my favorite weapon in the game. The trick to use it is waiting the enemy to come out in the open, away from cover. If you shoot them instantly, most of the time they hide behind a cover and heal. If you catch them in the open tho, with good aim, I get minimum 2 shots with it. 140dmg minimum is enough to keep them at bay in early to mid game. Also this weapon is master at punishing peekers or sniper v sniper duels at range.

Dude this was one of the best/least talked about buffs. So awesome. Reminded me of the choke being built into the pk and triple take. Sentinel all day, 16 cells in the backpack, minimum, keeping that thing charged up at all times.

The fundamental problem with Deadass Tempo on Sentinel is that it builds up way too slow to matter, coupled with the lowest base magazine capacity in the game and long reload time. Basically, having to halv your mag just to slightly increase fire rate is bad.

I've actually been picking it up a lot lately and really liking it, I used to go to the longbow if I wanted a sniper but the sentinel has been so clutch

The deadeye tempo built in is so nice. I don’t have to scrounge around to find it anymore lol

Tempo Sentinel doesn't suffer from a failed boost after firing too fast like the Bocek does. You can shoot instantly after it rechambers faster, preserving the Tempo and keeping a higher rate of fire.
