In this video you will learn how to work out the missing coordinate of a vertex of an isosceles triangle. The first thing you need to do is mark the numbers on the x-axis and y-axis. The first coordinate goes on the x axis and the second number on the y axis.

In the first example you have the coordinates (4,3) and (7,12). The numbers in the the x axis are 4 and 7. The numbers on the y axis are 3 and 12. So you can see the y coordinate of the vertex of the isosceles triangle is 3. To get the x coordinate look at the pattern of the numbers along the bottom which are 4,7, so the next number will be 10. This means the coordinate of the vertex is (10,3).

Thank you, sir. My test basically asking me to find the missing vertex without even teaching us how to.

If I don't know where it is located? Is there any formula or other way?
