First, there is no such thing as "Bad Bacon".. Second, anyone that watched this entire video should be given a medal.

I start in a COLD pan... Low and slow is the way to go! It also stays perfectly flat. I have used the “Water Method” when cooking extra thick Bacon. Great video!

I didn't even know this was a thing. I did it to remove some of the salt and it worked in every way. Looks evenly cooked no burning, even color on all pieces not the usual amount of grease, and still crispy. Forever doing it this way.

I am one of the few that cooks it in the oven. I have a convection oven now and I cook it at about 380. I don't have to turn it over or anything. It does cook from the outside in so I just remove the outer slices first, and drain them on paper towel. That's it. It works great and doing it like this for years.

Just tried this boiling method. Cast iron skillet, cover bacon with water (thick bacon), boiled on high until the water evaporated. Turned the heat to medium and flipped the bacon several times. The bacon came out perfect! slight crunch but still chewy and still a bit salty.

I was taught by my grandma to cook bacon like this. It renders more fat out the bacon for those who like to save bacon grease and your bacon cooks perfectly!
