Today we’re going to talk about distilled water—what it is and the top reasons to drink distilled water.

Distilled water is basically pure H2O without any impurities, toxins, or minerals. The pH of distilled water is completely neutral, and it has some interesting benefits. If you want to start drinking distilled water, it would be best to make your own.

Health benefits of distilled water:
1. It can help remove certain toxins
2. It can help remove deposits of certain minerals from your joints, arteries, and other tissues
3. It can help reduce the risk of kidney stones or gallstones

If you drink distilled water, it’s important to put the minerals that you need back into your body. You could do this by taking electrolytes with your distilled water. It’s also crucial to consume foods that are high in minerals.

Drinking distilled water while fasting is a great idea because it can help remove toxins from your body. Just be sure to have plenty of electrolytes.

I've been drinking distilled water by my own distiller since 1985. So many people have said that I will get ill from it because it has no minerals. My skin looks very clear and when I see what I take out of my boiling tank after distilling water, I am shocked that all that sediment would have gone into my joints and arteries. Thank you so much for doing this video.

I've been drinking my own home made distilled water for over 6 years. After you boil your fist batch of water and you open the chamber to clean and refill it, what you will see and smell will make you a lifetime "water maker". Thanks for the outstanding videos, Dr. Berg!

I started making distilled water at home using a countertop machine, about a month ago. The change in my skin happened within days. It almost glows.

I have been drinking distilled water for 47 years. I am a picture of perfect health. At 74, not a trace of arthritis. Many people who have followed my advice also have great results.

In order to put minerals back in distilled water add one pinch of celtic sea salt in every glass of water. Have been doing for the last 12yrs. Learnt from Korean naturopath.

I've drank distilled water for almost 8 years now. I was diagnosed with 4th stage kidney failure. The Dr said Within a year I would be on dialysis. Went vegan and started drinking distilled water. Still not on dialysis and have upgraded to stage 3. My numbers are normal. A1C is 5.6. Sometimes it gets hard finding distilled now..with all the shortages. But I've been lucky. I watch your videos and apply procedures and wellness advice where I think appropriate. And I've recommended your channel to many of my friends and family.

Thanks for the video. Literally everything you said is so true. I got a reverse osmosis mini system in my truck. As a trucker I'm only limited drinking bottled water. And doing it for 3-4 years continuesly made me sick like a zombie, vision got worst, than everytime started sweating I got rashes on my hand, muscles started to hurt, bones, always sleepy, depressed, overweight, signs of cancer. Changed my diet, added some vitamins, but still never felt like I used to be. Than I remembered how terrible was the water when I first started truck driving (because I got so used to terrible water, I didn't notice it anymore). So I decided to to reverse osmosis my drinking water regardless it's a 1 gallon water, or a bottle water or any water I passed it through reverse osmosis. Had to reprocess the rejected water twice, because reverse osmosis only cleans 40% of water and rejects the rest. After using it the first day the next day I woke up and felt my mind was so clear. Than after 3 days use my eyes started seeing better, more focused. Than my skin rashes began to disappear. After 10 days my ballocks got bigger. The food I'm eating is well processed. Looks like my body is detoxifying from heavy metals and other chemicals that is causing my mind to become cloudy. Dirty wayer effects my hormones, eyes, skin, my voice, causes weight gain. I think drinking distilled or reverse osmosis water it's like adding a distilled cup of water in a bucket of dirty water, and than after mixing the clean water with a dirty bucket water and removing a cup of water from the bucket you end up with much cleaner water in the bucket than it was before. So kidneys don't have to overwork removing toxins from the drinking water, instead it focuses removing the rest of the toxins inside the body.

When the WHO and CDC make claims that distilled water is dangerous, I know I’m on the right track of drinking distilled water!

One proponent for distilled water said don't worry about drinking distilled water from plastic jugs when that's all you can get because the distilled water will pick up the plastic but it holds onto it and won't release it in the body. It's such a powerful sponge it will still pull out body wastes.

I've been drinking distilled water for two weeks now!
I feel great! The incomprehensible crunch in the cervical vertebrae has disappeared; rather, the excess distilled water actually cleanses the joints of excess inorganic minerals!

I started drinking distilled 20 years ago. I just preferred it over bottled water. This is a nice confirmation 👍

You are so right Dr. Berg. My cat was not looking good. Her hair started to look matted. I changed her water from tap (her water bowl would have a blue ring) to distilled water. After drinking distilled, she looks about 8 years younger. I feel good when I drink distilled water.

I just came to say, Thank You Dr Berg. I'm 51, Asian and was dealing with high blood pressure. All my Dr said was, "Asians have a problem with high blood pressure..it's genetic, " since I wasn't overly obese. I'm 170lbs and 5'8". She had me on Losartan.
Found Dr Bergs videos on intermittent fasting, diet and sleep. (I eat 4 eggs a day :) My blood pressure is now normal 120/80 probably for the first time since I hit 35. And I'm happy to say I'm off that gawd awwful medication which was effecting my sleep. Thank you Thank you THANK YOU.

been distilling water at home for nearly a decade with this device 06:25 (make sure you get the one with the glass jug) - two important 'tricks' when using that device! firstly let the water come to full boil before you put the condenser on (black part at the top) as this allows the VOCs to boil off and also put a timer on your device so it never boils dry as boiling dry burns the calcium build up and makes your water taste foul - for this i used a wall socket timer set to 3 hours which leaves about 1 inch of water in the vessel

FYI the minerals in tap or bottled water are *not* bioavailable! so you can ignore all the negative rubbish you hear about drinking distilled water - just add a touch of salt (i use a 50/50 mix of himalayan & celtic sea salt) to keep your electrolytes up

I've had a home distiller for the last 12 years and it has been one of the best investments I've ever purchased. I've been drinking distilled water since 1991 and I also give it to my pets.

I drive an hour to a natural spring at Mount Rainier every three weeks to get clean fresh drinking water.... It's amazing and I am lucky to have such a good source!

I've been distilling my water for 5 years and have had amazing results. I'll never go back to tap or bottled. Distilled water is great for coffee, cooking, and I also add acv, hss, and lemon juice to my regular daily drinking water. Thanks Eric. You've been a great help to me.

this is all very good advice. been drinking distilled water myself for over a decade. RO filtered prior to that. i've fasted multiple times with nothing but distilled water and the only issue you may notice is muscle cramping after a while due to electrolyte depletion. a small sprinkle of calcium, potassium, magnesium, and sodium in the water takes care of that.
