Had to deal with this during my divorce. I walked up to him in kroger and said hi. He looked at me funny and I asked if he knew me? He said no, I said that's funny because you have been my attorney for 2 months and won't return a call. He got flustered and I bitched him out. It took threatening to sue him to get a phone call back. I still dream about hitting him with a bat sometimes.

THATS TRUE, ton of Lawyers can charge you and same time work against you . I paid full amount up front to lawyer and he would never call me, if I call doesn’t respond, If I ask what he has done so far he would lie none sense lies. Never trust any lawyer ask up front what he is plan is and make sure he emails you with steps his taking . DO NOT GIVE UP ALL INFORMATIONS to lawyer which he may work against you . Most lawyers don’t have education…. Trust me, I have done background check .. and they may not even have an experience in your case at all ….. maybe he knows only DUI nothing else . Take your time Get reference from his previous cases, ask questions how many same cases he has done and how was the steps and outputs, if he doesn’t have experience, he try to lie but story doesn’t ad up . So move to next !

Just got a gun and drug charge dismissed was looking at 5 to 8 years due to my record from a long time ago and my lawyer is so good he told me in the beginning this warrant doesn’t look good then we find out warrants were only signed by clerk and not the judge finally due to corona virus 🦠 after 15 months after judge kept asking D.A for more proof she couldn’t present it and my lawyer got the warrants thrown out and the judge dismissed the whole case due to lack of evidence 🤙🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏✅❤️

In Connecticut if an attorney continually doesn't return your calls is an ethics violation. You can file a complaint with the state's Grievance Committee against that attorney. Other states may have similar remedy.

My favorite when I was shopping lawyers was one who posted on their website they wouldn’t charge me if I called to ask for my bill. How gracious. Needless to say, they weren’t hired as it was clear it was a cash grab only place.
