Upper body, lower body, abs and cardio -- this full body circuit workout hits it all!

12 full body dumbbell exercises to build strength and burn calories at home. All you need is a set of dumbbells.

✨THE WORKOUT: 30-Minute Circuit Workout (Full Body)✨

► EQUIPMENT: Medium-to-Heavy Dumbbells. I'm using a 15-20 lbs. And optional mini loop resistance band.

►INSTRUCTIONS:
It looks like this:
✔️ 3 Circuits
✔️ 4 Moves Per Circuit (Arms, Legs, Abs + Core and Cardio)
✔️ Timed Intervals (40 seconds of work, 20 seconds of rest)
✔️ Repeat Each Circuit x 2 Sets

►Workout Outline:
1️⃣ CIRCUIT ONE:
Arms: 2 Hammer Curls + 2 Shoulder Press
Legs: 1 Deadlift + 2 Lateral Step Squats
Core: Plank 2 Toe Taps + Bear 2 Shoulder Taps (MOD: Banded March)
Cardio: Surfer Quick Hits (MOD: Squat Heel Taps)

2️⃣ CIRCUIT TWO:
Arms: 2 Back Flys + 2 Straight Arm Pullbacks
Legs: Alternating Reverse Lunge + Front Calf Raise
Core: 2 Skull Crushers + 2 Reverse Knee Tucks (MOD: Taps)
Cardio: Towel Slams

3️⃣ CIRCUIT THREE:
Arms: Push Up + Plank Walk
Legs: Banded Fire Hydrant Kicks R/L
Core: Side Plank + Dumbbell Pull Overhead R/L (MOD: Knee down)
Cardio: Burpee + Lateral Hop Over DB (MOD: lateral hop overs)

This format is SO GOOD, love the upper/lower/core/cardio! And the conversation throughout felt like such an encouraging mom hug!! Love the 40 minute length as well.

Alyssa, I'm so proud of you!!! When I started exercising with weights, I started at 3 pounds!! Starting with 8s is awesome!! You've done a great job and what an inspiration to your kids to make activity a priority! I think so many of us want to lose weight to look better and fit in smaller clothes, but once you start the journey you realize, like you said, that you FEEL so much better being in shape!

Well every time Alyssa talked I started to tear up! She represents us, sacrificing our bodies to have kids and then sacrificing to make health and fitness a priority. Yes I can! Inspiration to do the burpees all the way to the floor today!

That really was a great workout AND inspirational. Thank you. I also thought during towel slams “Lindsey seems effortlessly brilliant!”. When my girls get ANGRY I am going to hand them something soft and encourage them to drop the anger and pick up the joy!

One year postpartum and my body FINALLY feels strong enough to workout like the way I used to. I'm finally losing weight, eating better, and am feeling more like myself. Motherhood is really hard. Especially when you were in shape your whole pregnancy and then had an emergency c-section which throws you mentally and physically for a loop. You gals are amazing. I love the workouts and how relatable the stories are at this season of motherhood. THANK YOU!

Have been with NML for over a year now, and it is always my go-to for my daily workouts! Today as I was going about my chores, it suddenly hit me how functional the workouts are! When I am bending down to retrieve my laundry from the wash, I found myself working on my squats and my lunges, and when I was rotating between the sink and my stovetop to dry my dishes, I realise I was pivoting and twisting… I had a LOL moment! Thanks for making my day, beautiful ladies!

38:39 I struggled with an eating disorder for 20 years (anorexia/orthorexia) and have never posted but wow, Alyssa’s attitude and strength are incredible - her positive vibes are what made me comment. Way to go girl!! I have always been (too) consistent with my workouts, but you inspire me to be as consistent with my dedication to full, true recovery. Thank you!
