PORK ADOBO
3 lbs pork
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
3 cups water
3 tbsp cooking oil
3 tbsp patis
Bay leaves
2 tbsp sugar
½ cup chopped garlic
1 tbsp ground black pepper

Theres no right way but your own way bud. Adobo is been done differently all throughout pinas parekoy.

Yes! the right way! Of course, you really want to bring out the flavor and achieve the best texture, i saute ang garlic until brown, then i-brown ang meat! Remember giving the right color to your meat during browning will seal the flavor, hindi yung parang flat. Tulad nitong ginawa ni kuya Bogs! Then, saka ilagay ang pampalasa na soy sauce and vinegar. Then YOU HAVE TO LET IT SIMMER in low to medium fire para di masira kaagad yung meat pero magiging tender sya. Then reduce sauce to your liking!

Your tip on not stirring the vinegar is a secret that most cooks doesnt know. A lot of adobo recipe or other vinegar based recipe failed because stirring vinegar before simmering always leave it a flat baking soda like after-taste. One additional tip i would say is NOT to cover the pot immediately after adding the vinegar to let the vinegar release its rancid after-taste steam out of the pot, let it simmer a little bit before covering the pot with its lid.

There is no right or wrong way. There is just a "way". Each household has their way of making Adobo and that’s what makes it interesting.

Napakahilig ko po magluto sir, Ang dami ko na pong pinapanood n luto sa Facebook at you tubeq, pati nadin sa kalye o kahit cno magluto, para makaalam Ng mga sikreto at teknik sa maasarap na luto, now ko lang napanood kayo, napasubscribe Ako agad sa maga istilo at higit sa lahat tinuturo nyo sa Amin Ang mga sikreto at dapat Gawin❤️ salamat po sana madami ka pang maituro s Amin, as in maituro talaga na step by step, Lalo n sa mga bagong nag aarap magluto, salamat po ulit sir.

Thank you po sa recipe na ito. The best way para makapagluto ng Adobong baboy in less than 1 hour.

Yung method ko po kasi minamarinade ko muna yung karne sa bawang, paminta, toyo, at suka kaya matagal bago mailuto. Masyado time consuming. Thank you!

Easy and tasty. I use a leaner pork loin because my wife will not eat pork fat. The pork will be more dry but it’s still good with the sauce.

simple at napakasarap, laging ubos pag ka ganyan ulam eh, at yung tirang sarsa sa kaldero ginagamit ko pang fried rice napaka sarap

I like this version. Uncomplicated technique, the pork is not overpowered by too much ingredients. The sauce should compliment the star of the dish, not overpower it. Thanks for sharing.
