Your chocolate milk jello recipe reminds me of my friends who were on the GAPS diet to restore their gut health. They made milk jello sweetened with dates. They based the flavors on the famous date milk shakes of Palm Springs, California, a regional treat because of all the date orchards down there, so their date milk jello had some spices in it, but I'm not sure which ones. Anyway, it was so tasty, but I hadn't thought of it in years, until I saw your recipe.

I make my own bone broth and I like it! I found a good recipe by "Sally's Nest" here on YT, she uses oxtails to make it gelatinous.
Btw thanks for the recipe, I'll definitely try it!

I make broth from cooking a chuck roast (I use Carnivore Quest's chuck roast recipe, and add a bit more water) and it usually turns out quite gelatinous, so I assume I'm getting glycine and collagen from it. It's delicious, not bitter at all.

Thank you, this recipe looks excellent!!

I use an instapot pressure cooker to make a collagen rich bone broth in a shorter time. I cook chicken wings under pressure for about two-three hours and get a rich broth that will turn gelatinous in the fridge. So that can be a time saver!

If you want it low histamine, the meat can be cooked directly from frozen. I also freeze the broth in silicone soup cubes trays after. (Freezing impedes histamine formation.)

I collect all of the fat and bones that I don't eat during the month (chops & ribs) and keep them in the freezer.
When I have a full bag of bones, I add them to a slow cooker with meat, 2 cups of vinegar, salt and maybe some beef stock.
For meat I use various cheap cuts but my last 2 stews I had lamb neck and beef cheeks, the beef cheeks are extremely rich with gelatin and were very nice in the stew.
Many of the bones become so soft that you can even crush them with your fingers and so can be eaten with the meat.
I think the soft bones indicate that much of the minerals/proteins have probably been dissolved into the stew.
Then I eat everything in the pot, even the white tallow that settles to the top :)

I do make my own bone broth every other week from mostly chicken bones and some beef bones, it is not bitter.
I also love eating ground beef, and meat off the bone, and the ends of the drumsticks. 😂 My favorite collegen is also making desserts with gellatin. So yummy!!

You're so beautiful and a breath of fresh air!! ❤

Hi, even though I make my own broth, I appreciate this idea since I do have gelatin powder at home.

Bratan, you should try Gelatine блинчики! They're so delicious and easy to make. I don't even bother to pan fry them. Just pour the batter on a baking sheet and put it in the oven to make one large oven блинчик. You need eggs and gelatine powder. I don't have measurements, it never turns out bad no matter how the ratio is.
Maybe 4 eggs and 2 tea spoons of gelatine.
You can roll that oven блинчик and cut it into noodles.

I would love to hear your take on "Chris Masterjohn, PhD". He is a nutritional scientist.

I'm curious, why exactly did you stop being vegan?

This is completely psychosomatic response mental illness that was induced by the social disapproval. This young girl could not handle. Now she is choosing and falling into a deeper relaxation as she feels part of the vast majority of people the 99% of people that eat meat, Carbs FTW!! 💪💪💪
