Hi Mr. Flynn, my IA aim is to find out when the Australia-immigrants population and France-immigrants population will have the same number. Is there any way I can fit calculus within my exploration and make it relevant to the aim? Thanks so much.

Hi Mr.Flynn. I saw your video about IA ideas and I really liked the angry birds one and my research is about the to find the optimal trajectory for the angry birds to hit all the pigs in a certain level to clear it by using quadratic functions.

But i wanted to ask you if you could may be make a video related to it or just tell me if it would be a good IA and what more can i do to get the best grade. I am also using logger pro but is that what i should be using ? Or is there any other way !

Hi sir, when using Geogebra to model these functions from the list of points, the ‘fit’ property calculates the best fit line or ‘regression’ of the functions as opposed to the calculations from differential equations (exponential and logistic). As you already know, calculating the linear and non linear regressions are statistics related whereas differential equations are calculus based. So my question is, can and how would you use calculus (like the logistic or exponential differential equations) alongside software like Desmos and Geogebra when the functions in these softwares calculate their answers using statistics which ultimately yields a different final answer.

Hey Mr. Flynn, I am doing a hl stats ia on developing an index to predict chess raiting from IQ and time spent playing chess however I am a bit stuck on what extra maths I can include within my IA as currently I have created an index, used Pearson's correlation coefficient and the coefficient of determination but want to add some other stuff as well. Could I do chi squared test? How do I know if I can or not? what do you recommend me doing? Thank you
