When I am explaining the math. Would it be better to explain the math in paragraphs. (e.g) The general equation of the sine curve is f(x)=asin[b(x-c)] +d. To find the amplitude a or the vertical stretch, the range of the data has to be divide by 2, etc. Or it would it be better to write it mathematically out line by line with limited explanation.

hello sir, how did the swimming IA reach the level of sophistication for getting a 7 in HL? I am doing a math IA that is slightly similar to this involving probability and normal distribution and I was wondering what else could be included to reach that sophistication required?

And do we have to have a research question and if we need is it okay to use "what" and "how" because it just cannot be written as "to what extent"

Is it okay if it's 1.5 spacing? because I just finished my IA with 20 pages and 1.5 spacing, and I can't repeat the whole thing with fewer pages, will it be a problem?
