This is my first and only experience working a typical 9-5 job, right before I started selling real estate. This is my experience and my story for anyone in the same position who can relate…I hope you enjoy it, I know it’s longer than my other videos. Feel free to add me on Snapchat/Instagram: GPStephan

and they pay you just enough to keep you coming back. Never enough to get away...

"I didn't even like the weekends because it just reminded me I had to go to work on Monday" - LMAO

I worked 9-5. I felt the same way. No energy. I always wanted to go home and sleep.

The work environment was toxic like high school. I couldn’t believe it. Adults acting worse than children.

I was depressed daily. I couldn’t imagine working another year let alone 10. I would be fat and ugly. 😢

Everything you said was spot on. Went through the same experience and felt like a modern day slavery and felt too young to be this old. I was drinking alcohol everyday just to escape the work life and decided this is it. Quit my job. Happiest I’ve been in a long time ! You’re mental health is the most important thing in this world!

My boss hates when I talk business with him. He just wants me to do my job and shut up. If you have ideas that could make a company better, save them for your own business.

I watched the whole video. When I had a 9-5, I felt the exact way. The way I would describe the feeling is like being in prison -you feel like you don’t belong there and mostly your coworkers always think something is wrong with you. I think every single person with an entrepreneurial mindset feels this way at some point in his/her life

Oh man! My anxiety was growing just watching this! I’ve had jobs before with ridiculous rules and being micromanaged. I would come home in tears and be so depressed I was contemplating suicide. My dad always told me, once you get a job, start looking for another. I looked and took going through several jobs to land one I felt at home with. Then I quit to go back to school to become a nurse and gave up weekends and holidays. Doh!

This is how school first shapes you to the environment of work: No creativity at all, just turns creative humans to robot zombies for the benefits of labor. Life is beautiful

I watched this whole thing while I do my corporate 9-5 at home today as I cry and have a meltdown before going back into the office Monday. Thank you for helping me know I am not the only one that went through the same struggle

I can’t even describe how much I relate to your story. I went from hating my 9-5 not too long ago to now working on getting my real estate license as well and I’ve never been more excited!

This is why I quit my Job. I cannot take this type of jail. It's hell

I quit my job years ago, and worked for myself since. I must say I work more hours than a 9-5, but if I can have a Tuesday of I can, or sit with a dying relative without worrying about a boss, I can . It's called freedom.

The fact that your boss tried to manipulate you into staying like that’s crazy…I’m happy that you decided to do what’s best for you ❤️❤️❤️

I watched this video because recently I've made this decision in my own life. I just couldn't take it anymore. Watching this just makes me feel like I've made the right choice. Thanks Graham!

9 to 5 has turned into 9 to 7 with an hour travel time each way. If you can get out of it, do it.

This reminds me...one of my favorite videos from Kevin O'Leary is where he says "Salary is the drug they give you to make you forget your dreams." Think this rang true.

I love how relatable this video is.

This is my daily reality, working a 32 hour work week for a company I’m not overly passionate about.

I watch the whole thing. I felt like you were talking to me face to face. This just inspires me to go after real estate. I will get my license and get things going. I have zero experience but a huge hunger for success. Thanks, Graham for being such an inspiring person for me
