Guys don't worry about people who talk about you behind your back. They're behind you for a reason.

I don't think confronting the person will do anything. I mean it's their mouth and it runs when it wants too and there's no stopping it. Even if you do confront the person, they won't stop. Confronting will just make things even bigger. IMO

What people think about me is none of my business. If they want to spend their time talking crap behind my back, then go ahead, it doesn't change the definition of who I am.

some girls at my class talked behind my back I GOT REALLY MAD and had a huge fight with them i went to the teacher and wanted to change my class because of them and ended up CRYING :( it just hurts a lot i got bullied for 9 years and it is really hard to gain confidence

Someone at school who i really trusted and thought was my friend called me stupid but funny. She also called me weird. I want to walk up to her and say, " If you're so confident why don't you call me stupid to my face? Why can't you just tell me. I don't see why you're acting like this. I really thought I could trust you. But I guess not. I knew you would end up throwing me away like this just like you do with everyone else. I'm glad you're not my friend anymore because you laugh at people and you're toxic. I hope you learn to become a better person and people might be nicer to you." Luckily tomorrow is is school so I can tell her off and get her out of my life.

if someone is talking about me behind my back i DEFINITELY confront them. you should not try to be exceptionally nice to them and try and get them to like you because they clearly don't like you for you. people who talk about people behind their backs are just insecure and try to hid it by bitching.

This is the silliest advice I've ever heard. If someone is talking badly behind your back the first thing you should do is confront them, preferably in front of the people they are talking to so that you send the message that you're aware of it and that you're the one in control of the situation. Secondly, you definitely don't then go and "be nice & friendly" to the person talking behind your back - friendship is the last thing a backstabber deserves, and they're just likely to continue screwing you over because you'll make yourself appear weak.

I hate going to school. I’m okay with a few people talking behind my back but when it’s a reoccurring thing then it’s starts to bother me. I’ve heard people standing right in front of me saying to each other “I hope we don’t have to sit next to.. *blank* I have a feeling that it’s probably because I come across as intimidating to people but even my friends who I don’t really talked to anymore have said I came across as intimidating but shy to them but when they got to know me it was fine.
